About Anchor & Bean Coffee
In our search for the perfect, freshest cup of coffee our journey landed us in Medellín, Colombia and then 2100 ft. above sea level to the city of Caicedo, Antioquia (Colombia). There we were introduced to Caicedo Washed Coffee, otherwise referred to as Resiliencia (translated to Resilience in English). It’s produced by the Aprokafe community in Caicedo under a cherry center business model. It supports economic development for many families in Caicedo, making it a choice our customers will surely appreciate. This would be the bread and butter of our specialty coffee menu. Caicedo offers a brilliant brew with an SCA score of 84+. You can serve it black or use for elevating your cappuccinos and lattes. Roast it medium or take it darker. It holds up well under any roast profile.
Heading back to Medellín, we met with our business partners who will roast and package our premium coffee, fresh and delivered to Northern Michigan in about 2 weeks. Anchor & Bean is pleased to offer several blends, roast levels and "single origin" coffee's to satisfy even the most discerning coffee indulgences.
"Thanks for spending some time with us and we look forward to serving you soon".
